Ascendant Medical Laboratory is seeking a Medical Laboratory Sales Specialist based in Memphis. The successful candidate will report directly to the Sales Manager and will be fully engaged in the selling, promoting and developing of new markets in accordance with the company’s sales and coverage objectives. College graduate or equivalent is required, preferably in the Life Sciences.  Licensure or certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent and experience in reference laboratory sales is highly desirable.

Full-time Phlebotomist
Ascendant Medical Laboratory has an opening for a full-time floating phlebotomist for day-shift, Monday through Friday at multiple locations with occasional week end and holiday rotation. The candidate will draw and collect blood samples from patients, verify records and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Candidate will assist with bone marrow procedures and prepare slides for diagnosis.  Requirements: a high school diploma and/or knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a laboratory and physician office.

Part-time Medical Technologist and Microbiologist
Ascendant Medical Laboratory has an opening for a part-time Medical Technologist and Microbiologist working weekend day shift.  Candidate may work one to three week ends per month with occasional holiday rotation.  Requirements: licensure by the State of Tennessee Department of Health Related Boards as a Medical Technician or Technologist, ASCP preferred.
